The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can get to places a robot vacuum cannot.
The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. It also boasts a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. It was unable to handle fine debris and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all of its functions. It provides clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good accuracy, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office tidy. It can also reach all corners of my small apartment. It uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home so it knows what to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.
It also has some outstanding notable features, like the self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to save time. If you have several types of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping features this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and can move between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick knots in the rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we've tested.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed very well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in small spaces. It's quiet and quick, and it does a good job of navigating tight spots. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a photo of each object it finds (i.e., chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
